hurray yemi turns 17!!!!

21st of may 2014 we all joined yemi awolade to celebrate her birhtday and we all wish her long live and prosperity.
it was a fun packed celebration  where   there was enough to drink and eat  it  was a bad market for the caterers becaise the celebration started during lunch. Chinebrezzy was also there to get some photos of what happened. here are some:

First of all we will like to thank God for helping us finish our exams without any course for alarms or emergency and now we ware free men and women.Although not all of us are done but we still wish our fellows Goodluck! and pray we all pass in flying colours. chinebreezy got all the pictures of what happened the day most scienece students finish there exams and how they celebrated. check them out

Bored ss3 students play computer game (fifa) and listen to music as exams are almost over but do not forget IG kicks off next week tuesday with mathematics and biology alternative to practicals

The ss3 students have been on exam mood since the first of march as they kicked off with mock. After they wrote mock for two weeks they only had the weekend to prepare for their exam proper(their external exams). In between their WAEC came jamb which took place on the 12th of April the results are out and the students did themselves proud. Today some of the students did their tye and dye practicals and according to them it was very easy we pray they all get A1 in that subject as well as other subjects.

Today being  Wednesday,dowen college is set to announce the set of new leaders to implement the school rules and regulations.

Tominson who lead the current final year students is set to pass on the baton to his successor  bawo who is currently acting as the head boy of the college.

The investiture is to commence today by 2:00 pm and everybody is expected to be there.

Also dimimu is also set to take over from euphoria as the head girl of the school

Year 12: Afternoon with the chairman

As part of the culture of dowen college, each year, the graduating set visit the chairman in his house to discuss with him as young adults and get some fatherly advice and eat and drink  on the table of men .
This years own was held on the 25th of april during the schools holiday and it was a huge success as Daniel Thomas and Vivien Obande emerged best male dancers and Stephanie Ekwevi and Eunice Nwaomoku also took top spot for the females and were rewarded with a sum of Five thuouand naira each.Also the set voted in the most admired graduating students where Folami Ayodeji and Ajao Tofunmi won for both male and female respectively.

Welcome the latest dowen blog

Two students in class 2014 have decided to create a blog for the class of 2014 where people can come and visit anytime,anyday and keep in touch with one another now and in the nearer future.

Founders of  this blog namely Uzoma Chinemerem and Brown Eric have come together to put this blog into existence after long planning and arguments. finally the blog has come into existence and you all can visit it now!!!!!
